Fiscal 2009 fourth quarter was the most profitable for Apple thanks to record Macintosh computer and iPhone sales. In the quarter ended on Sept. 26, Apple posted net profit of 1.67 billion U.S. dollars and revenue of 9.87 billion dollars, which represented increase of 47 percent and 25 percent respectively, compared with the same quarter a year earlier.
